Christian Müller Violins and Kenny Hilsley of Dumfries based Hilsley Guitars will have fine, new handmade instruments on display. Visit their stands to try the instruments, find out how they are made and get luthiers’ tips on keeping your own instrument in good condition.
There will be festival merchandise for sale including the The Ballads and Songs of Carrick book launched at last year’s Festival and local artists and crafts people will also be showing and selling work. Teas and coffees will be available throughout the day as well as some low-key music from festival artists and friends.
