Statue Stories

Sunday 1st May – 11:00am
The Catholic Hall

For Sunday’s family event, our resident storyteller Heather Yule introduces little Festival-goers (& big ones!) to some interesting looking characters – the Folky Fisherman and the Girvan Gannet – or maybe you have better names for them?

Where did they come from?*

How did they get here?

What are they doing?

What happens next?

Help Heather to weave the legend of our Folk Festival friends.

You could even bring along your creations from Catch a Drift the day before – maybe they have a part to play in the story too!

This event is suitable for anyone who has ever wondered what a flock of violin seagulls sounds like!!!

* The short answer is they are the result of our collaboration with the fantastic Carrick Light Festival folks but we are sure to come up with a better story!
